ABOUT US

Green Mountain Lavender is a 14 acre lavender farm in the beautiful hills of Springfield, VT. Established in 2024, we grow five different varieties of culinary lavenders, or true lavenders, from the Lavandula angustifolia species ( Hidcote, Munstead, Sachet, Folgate and Royal Velvet). 

We also grow one variety of Lavandin 'Phenomenal' which is a hybrid or 'French lavender' from the Lavadin X Intermedia species. 'Phenomenal' is hardy to our climate and grows in heady, fragrant spikes that are perfect for sachets, bouquets and other fragrance based lavender products. ​

GML is set to open to the general public on a regular basis in the summer of 2026.

Can't make it? You can purchase our lavender products via our online shop, in person at Pete's Stand in Walpole, NH (May-December) or at our little self-serve store in nearby Chester, VT (@theShantyVT). We are also at the 2025 Ludlow Farmers Market every Sunday from May until October.
